The Lebanese government dropped recently the drugs price support. Consequently, coupled with the financial and economic crisis in the country, the underprivileged elderly are experiencing a non-precedented risk to their health; many are not able to buy their prescribed medicaments due to the high prices and due to the non-availability at the pharmacies.
